Small Business Accounting Software

I discovered this FREE Microsoft Office Accounting Express software a while ago.  It's a very user-friendly accounts package that looks after your invoicing and payments.  For a small business it's a great start.  I wish Sage would offer something similar to give Microsoft some stiff competition!

 If you need to do payroll, you'll want to look at more advanced packages than this, but for the very small business, it's hard to beat the price and ease of use.
